While it is normal for wood to darken, change color or shape over time, proper care will extend the life of your board.
Please clean the board before your first use.
Rinse both sides of the board with mild soap and water after each use. You can use cutting board cleaner, or a simple solution of white vinegar and lemon to help remove food odors.
Pat dry and store the board on its edge so air can circulate around both faces evenly.
Treat the entire board with mineral oil and/or cutting board conditioner after every few uses and/or whenever the wood appears dry.
Never put the board in the dishwasher or soak it in water.
